The design begins with reimagining the spatial framework and functional zoning, embracing a fully customized approach. Structural elements are elevated into aesthetic features, merging utility with minimalist design language to redefine spatial logic. Through careful consideration of materials and lighting, the loft-style residence is transformed into a visually compelling space that balances starkness with warmth.

The mezzanine flooring has been rebuilt using an integrated steel structure and aluminum formwork, enhancing both construction efficiency and durability. On-site hand-drawn positioning ensures precise cutting and alignment, while integrated conduit-structure solutions reduce visual clutter caused by exposed piping.

The entry platform and exterior walls are clad in terrazzo, allowing the ceiling and television wall to highlight the rugged texture of the stone surfaces. Stair treads are crafted from embossed steel plates, while cabinet doors and wall panels are finished with white oak veneer. Deep gray tones rendered in Italian cement contrast with the soft warmth of wooden flooring, creating a serene and orderly atmosphere that infuses the living space with a grounded, natural energy.

Modular steel framing and recyclable aluminum materials are used to significantly reduce construction waste. High-set windows enhance natural lighting and ventilation, lessening the need for air conditioning. Select reclaimed building materials are repurposed and reintroduced, preserving the memory of the original space while reducing resource consumption.

Low-E glass effectively blocks external heat from entering the home. Energy-saving LED lighting and automatic sensor fixtures are employed, while cross-ventilation strategies are introduced to minimize air conditioning usage. Material selections prioritize low-processing, low-formaldehyde options and recyclable modular furniture systems.
