“Color is a means of exercising direct influence upon the soul.” — Wassily Kandinsky, pioneer of Abstract Art

The considered layering of tones not only guides the movement of light and shadow but also amplifies brightness and supports a more flexible spatial arrangement. Fluid circulation throughout the home transforms the inherent structure into a space where aesthetics and everyday functionality converge, allowing the patina of time to coexist with the rhythms of contemporary lifestyle.

Sustainability sits at the heart of the renovation, with material and lighting choices guided by the principles of low impact and high quality. Traditional paints are replaced by decorative coatings crafted from low-formaldehyde, recyclable base materials, offering both a distinctive tactile beauty and a healthier indoor environment. Certified sustainable wood is used extensively, with contrasting tones and textures adding depth and rhythm, resulting in a grounded yet breathable atmosphere.

Lighting design cleverly harnesses natural daylight to reduce energy consumption during the day, while high-efficiency LEDs and smart zoning systems adapt seamlessly to different living scenarios. The choreography of materials and light elevates the home with a quiet sheen of artistry—while simultaneously embracing energy-conscious, environmentally responsible living.

A double-height living area anchors the communal space, seamlessly linking an open-plan kitchen and bar. An exposed ceiling stretches the vertical volume, enhancing the sense of openness while encouraging effortless movement throughout the space—fostering interaction among family members without imposing rigid boundaries.

The kitchen and dining area invites natural light through large glazing, complemented by an open bar counter design. The designer’s hand-painted, vibrant geometric artwork interacts with the light, imbuing everyday dining with a sense of ceremony. In the bedroom, the sloped ceiling is reimagined with layered materials and lighting, creating a serene and design-forward atmosphere.
