The core challenge was to harmonize the desires of two generations: the grandparents' wish for tangible luxury and the couple's preference for a lighter, more contemporary aesthetic. The ground floor unfolds into a public space defined by soft, milky-tea tones and layered textures. A statement TV wall made of large-format Italian tile provides a touch of grandeur, balanced by intricate, multi-layered crown molding that evokes classic French design. Arched doorways and subtle gold accents further enhance the sophisticated yet gentle atmosphere. The entire design thoughtfully utilizes eco-friendly materials, including zero-VOC Benjamin Moore paint and low-formaldehyde system cabinets, ensuring a healthy environment for the growing family.
