DrayEasy shortens the drayage booking process from 2–3 days to just 5 minutes. Previously, cargo owners and logistics managers could only use a desktop site, requiring long sessions at a computer just to get a single quote. As a two-person design team, we extended the platform to mobile to reduce friction and recover lost market share. Research showed 67% of users found the desktop order flow too slow, and 80% of logistics managers worked on the move. Through interviews and usage analysis, we iteratively designed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI, standardizing branding and accessibility across products. The mobile app introduced a streamlined experience with a prominent search bar, reusable history cards, suggested quotes when no results appear, and an optional map view of ports. By removing unnecessary steps, users could now search, compare, and book in minutes. Launched in 2024, the redesign drove a 230% increase in daily active users, a 47% boost in order quantity, and significant reductions in order completion time. DrayEasy’s mobile transformation shows how data-driven, user-centered design can improve customer satisfaction while aligning with business growth.
