This project, as an immersive ocean art exhibition situated within a commercial center, enables art to seamlessly intervene in public space. Centered around the concept of ‘weaving dreams about deep ocean, conveying emotions through art’, it integrates art installations with lighting technology, aiming to foster greater public concern for marine ecosystems.

The project draws inspiration from the play of light and shadow in the depths of the ocean, the rhythmic motion of tides, and the morphological characteristics of marine creatures. The installation of giant conches and suspended dolphins serves as the visual focus, enhancing the immersive experience and making a lasting impression. Blue and purple as the main colors, complemented by an ingenious blend of lighting design, projection technology, and transparent or reflective materials, recreate the atmosphere of the tranquil deep-ocean environment.

The project is divided into two functional areas: an art exhibition area and an interactive photo-taking area. Through organically arranged installations and lights, it orchestrates a smooth visitor flow, along which photo-taking spots are strategically placed. This not only ensures visual consistency and a seamless experience to improve viewing comfort, but also strengthens the sense of exploration and engagement to bring visitors more fun.

As for information communication, the project adopts an immersive artistic language that transforms marine ecological knowledge into a tangible spatial experience. It allows the public to gradually comprehend the importance of protecting marine ecosystems during an aesthetic journey, achieving the fusion of artistic expression and public education. Moreover, this non-didactic approach evokes strong emotional resonance and inspires the willingness to protect marine ecosystems, driving the shift of the public from ‘awareness’ to ‘action’ in terms of environmental protection.
