About The Entry

Plastic pollution is no longer just an environmental issue - it is a systemic failure that directly threatens marine life, food safety, and human health.

As plastics break down into microscopic particles, they are ingested by fish, shellfish, and other marine animals - and eventually consumed by humans through seafood. This project explores the colsed-loop cycle of plastic: from ocean waste, to the food chain, and ultimately into our bodies, where its invisible presense raises urgent public health concerns.
