With the development of the global economy, the traditional way of home is becoming more and more difficult to sustain. In such an environment, collective life and architecture are possible choices for human beings. Since the beginning of socialism, architects have tried to create possibilities for collective living be intergrating complex urban functions into large buildings. It can be said that the composite function of condominum is the concentration of the architect's perfomamce on the architectural scale of a certain urban function or settelement environment.

As a traditional farming society, Chinese social settelment orginated from the village. This project intends to generate a collective housing witth local significance by deconstructing and translating the social model of traditional Chinese villages.
