Chenxi Series

The Chenxi Series comprises sideboards, TV cabinets, dressing tables, and shoe cabinets, drawing inspiration from the breathtaking scene of the sea at dawn: when the sun rises over the horizon, gentle breezes ripple across the waves and the water shimmers under the sun, casting a scene as poetic and picturesque as a painting. Symbolizing beauty, the morning tide inspired the design team to translate such beauty into vintage-style furniture. That’s how the series is created.

The series pairs black frames with Burmese teak surfaces, whose natural warmth and vintage charm make each cabinet look like a framed painting. The outward-angled legs add artistic elegance and come with an optional pedestal base. The teak surfaces are shaped to mimic the tide shimmering under the rising sun, giving the furniture a poetic and distinctive character.

This furniture series provides generous storage space, with shelves inside the cabinets that can be easily adjusted to fit items of different sizes. Every piece is crafted with meticulous attention to detail. It features a matte finish that shows the natural grain of the wood, conveying understated elegance and premium quality. It is crafted using a direct-to-substrate veneering process, with Grade-A Burmese teak for the mid-century toned panels and imported white oak solid veneer for the black sections. All veneers are AAA-grade, 0.5 mm thick, precision-joined with advanced machinery. The seams are carefully finished with sanding and brushing to bring out the natural wood grain. Edged with 0.8 mm natural wood veneer using PUR glue, it ensures strong adhesion, water resistance, and moisture resistance. Top-grade, formaldehyde- and benzene-free Chinese Fushen water-based adhesive is used, achieving a D3-level water resistance. Meanwhile, all hidden surfaces are carefully finished with no raw wood exposed. The inner drawer frames are made of teak-colored multilayer lacquer-free solid wood panels. The surface is coated with high-end, scratch-resistant formaldehyde- and benzene-free water-based lacquer from Zhanchen, whose self-repairing and heat-resistant properties keep the cabinet looking as flawless and new as the day it was finished, creating a high-quality home living experience.
