Guided by the "Natural Five Senses" philosophy, this design reimagines the sales center as a modern art gallery floating upon Hangzhou's waters. Drawing inspiration from the city’s landscape and heritage, it weaves a poetic narrative that connects urban life, nature, and the future through five artistic themes: "Boat, Mountain Rocks, Osmanthus, Light, and Vitality."
Rooted in Hangzhou’s intangible cultural heritage and guided by the concept of Natural Five Senses, we transformed "Boat, Mountain Rocks, Osmanthus, Light, and Vitality" into perceptible artistic symbols, ultimately creating this "Art Exhibition Floating on Water."
At the heart of the entrance lobby, an abstract sculptural artwork inspired by the "Boat" serves as both the visual focus and spiritual inspiration of the space.
In the model area, decorative lights shaped like mountain rocks echo the textural motifs of the walls. Through the deconstruction and reconstruction of their framework and surface details, they evoke a sense of layered mountain ranges.
Along the transitional corridor leading to the show flats, an art installation crafted with traditional velvet flower techniques is arranged within the framed scenery. Its form draws inspiration from clustered osmanthus blossoms.
The elevated-level corridor is designed as an art gallery, featuring a series of light-and-shadow hanging paintings by artist Zhang Liping, which serve as the soul of this space. The captured, ever-changing light resonates with the real water surface, skyscape, and cloud reflections outside, transforming the entire area into a vast "Container of Light."
Evoking the element of water, a carpet of flowing ripples mirrors the scenery outside. This pattern symbolizes the burgeoning veins of life beneath the water, instilling a tranquil sense of vitality into the space.
