About The Entry

This project, conceptually based on a "corridor for dialogue with history," aims to reshape the spiritual realm of wine culture through spatial sequence and the layering of light and shadow. The design uses continuous arches to construct spatial order and rhythm, creating an immersive experience that moves between time and memory, allowing visitors to resonate with the history and culture of wine as they wander through.

The spatial composition is centered on a corridor, organically connecting display, tasting, and exchange functions. The repetition and gradation of the arched structures create a visual rhythm and psychologically guide visitors into a slow and contemplative pace. It symbolizes the extension of time and the sedimentation of culture, endowing the space with narrative and spiritual tension.

In terms of materials, marble, walnut wood, and metal details construct spatial layers, reflecting a design logic that combines rationality and warmth. The cool texture of marble and the warm touch of wood balance each other under the interplay of light and shadow, creating a rich spatial texture.

The lighting system emphasizes the unity of spatial atmosphere and display logic. By controlling the direction and layers of light, the volume of the wine display and the subtlety of material reflection are enhanced, giving the space a visually flowing rhythm and depth.

This project is not merely a wine showroom, but a step-into cultural narrative—using space as a medium, it allows people to engage in dialogue with history and experience the weight of time and the enduring charm of wine culture through perception, lingering, and tasting.
