The design redefines the contemporary parent-child urban resort experience by integrating nature, regional culture, and modern aesthetics. Inspired by the core spirit of “Exploring Nature with Love,” the concept draws from the cultural identity of Wuhan—known as the “River City” and the “City of a Hundred Lakes”—and from the poetic legend of “High Mountains and Flowing Water.” Three motifs—mountains, water, and lotus flowers—are abstracted and transformed into a continuous design language that shapes an immersive natural-aesthetic environment distinct from conventional standardized hotels.
Rather than simply imitating natural forms, the design adopts methods of deconstruction, translation, and abstraction to embed the imagery of mountains and water throughout the interior. The lobby ceiling unfolds like layered peaks, the floor patterns evoke rippling waves, and guestroom surfaces reinterpret natural textures in subtle, tactile ways. Light and shadow in public areas mimic the softness of nature, allowing guests to engage in a quiet, experiential dialogue with local landscapes and the philosophy of the brand.
Technological innovation plays a central role in realizing these organic forms within a large-scale commercial structure. The most challenging element—the giant curved lobby surface—required precise coordination between structural logic and artistic intent. Through BIM simulation and parametric modeling, custom GRG components were developed to achieve a seamless connection between the double-curved surfaces and structural columns, ensuring both visual fluidity and engineering feasibility.
Sustainable materials such as GRG, artistic coatings, PETG amber panels, natural wood, and bamboo weaving reinforce the ecological narrative. An intelligent lighting system simulates the dappled effect of daylight filtering through lotus leaves, creating dynamic atmospheres that shift with time.
The entire design process revolves around balance: harmonizing artistic expression and functional needs, brand values and regional culture, construction efficiency and experiential quality. The result is a space that supports both playful exploration for families and serene relaxation for adults. More than a place to stay, it becomes a contemporary interpretation of natural aesthetics and an elevated cultural experience for travelers.
