Located in Hefei, this project aims to create an ideal living environment that blends quality with cultural depth for the city’s high-net-worth community. Inspired by the essence of Shanghai style, the design reinterprets classic elements such as arches and curves with contemporary techniques, establishing an elegant spatial rhythm. Refined materials, layered details, and curated furnishings embody a sophisticated aesthetic that fuses Eastern and Western influences, resonating with the target clientele’s pursuit of both high-end lifestyle and cultural identity.

The concept draws from insights into the local market and reimagines the spatial rhythm of Shanghai’s historic landmarks in a modern context. Shanghai-style motifs—arched portals, curved geometries, bronze finishes, and custom fragrances—compose a multi-sensory journey of sight, touch, and smell. This creates a memorable emotional connection between people and space, forming an immersive sales gallery and clubhouse.

A key highlight of the project is its contemporary elevation of traditional Shanghai-style aesthetics. Through the modern transformation of arches, flowing lines, and metal craftsmanship, the design achieves a refined cultural expression. A dual-circulation system encloses a central landscaped atrium, seamlessly integrating functional zoning with natural light. Large window openings dissolve the boundary between indoors and outdoors, shaping a fluid spatial continuum where architecture and nature merge.

The project addresses several core challenges. Classic motifs are reinterpreted through modern materials to balance heritage with contemporary taste. Dual-circulation pathways are organized around the daylight-filled atrium to ensure smooth movement and visual openness. The integration of expansive glazing and landscaped corridors creates a naturally flowing spatial experience with precise material transitions.

Sustainability is approached from environmental, humanistic, and social dimensions. Environmentally, natural materials, low-VOC products, generous glazing, and lush greenery enhance ecological performance. Humanistically, durable metals and timeless design allow the space to age gracefully and accumulate cultural value. Socially, the project establishes a long-term platform for community interaction, fostering a culturally rich and sustainable environment.
