The visual identity (VI) design for the home lifestyle brand Theofilos is built around the core philosophy of bringing “sensory comfort” to highly sensitive individuals. The design aims to create a life aesthetic that balances body and mind using a cross-cultural narrative. It reflects the brand’s focus on the “invisible spiritual strength” of highly sensitive people while aligning with its product philosophy of leveraging silk’s irreplaceable flexibility and embracing sustainable development.

The brand logo “Theofilos” is derived from Greek, meaning “beloved by the gods,” signifying that highly sensitive individuals are a group loved by gods. The supporting graphics are in flowing cursive script, with strokes interweaving like threads. Through minimalist curves and a measured density and spacing, they evoke a feeling of tranquility and openness while metaphorically representing the “connection between the divine and human.” The logo looks like a silkworm cocoon and is framed to create a badge-like symbol with vintage ceremonial charm and modern recognizability, reinforcing the brand’s product identity.

The design embraces minimalist Eastern composition and makes full use of negative space to create a spacious layout. By combining rational structure with emotional visual elements, it captures the subtle and sometimes conflicting feelings of highly sensitive individuals, delivering emotional impact yet remaining balanced and integrated. The color scheme combines classic black and white—widely used by international luxury brands—with a deep, elegant blue to establish a high-end atmosphere with emotional depth. Additionally, the design incorporates braille elements to enhance its accessibility to special-needs users. The design enhances the spiritual experience from perception to meaning-making, creating a complete, rich, and emotionally resonant living environment for highly sensitive individuals.
