Designed to mark Tegeta's 30th anniversary, a leading automotive and industrial company headquartered in Georgia, this commemorative object reinterprets the traditional corporate award through an architectural lens.
The object is composed of stacked, laser-cut metal plates arranged around a central vertical axis. Through repetition, proportion, and controlled material variation, the design translates time, growth, and collective contribution into a restrained physical form. Rather than relying on symbolic ornamentation, the project expresses its narrative through construction logic and material behavior.
Developed in collaboration with Italian metal specialists De Castelli, each plate is individually finished using controlled oxidation processes, allowing surface ageing and tonal shifts to become integral to the final composition. The layered structure emphasizes permanence and continuity, positioning the object between product design and small-scale architecture.
The result is a commemorative artifact that prioritizes material integrity, precision, and conceptual clarity over conventional trophy aesthetics.
