Designed for a family of four—a couple and their two young sons—this home aims to blend the refined sensibility of a boutique hotel with the warmth of everyday living.
An understated palette of black, gray, and white sets a composed foundation, articulated through clean, disciplined lines and accented with mirror finishes and titanium-plated metal to evoke a crisp, hotel-like elegance. Warm wood tones and soft furnishings temper the geometry and bring in a lived-in softness to the environment.
An integrated smart-home system further elevates the living experience, coordinating lighting, temperature, humidity, and indoor air quality to create a seamless, high-performance environment tailored to the family's daily routine.
Elevations integrate cabinetry and equipment into a unified plane, maintaining a crisp, consolidated profile; selective curves on ceilings and at corners soften transitions, making movement through the home feel naturally fluid and calm. Materiality is carefully calibrated—wood veneer, mirrors, and titanium-plated details deliver refined, hotel-grade precision, while the contrast of matte and gloss surfaces provides an understated yet tactile richness.
Circulation is deliberately zoned to support flexibility and privacy. The living, dining, and kitchen areas are connected to form an open, continuous shared space. In private areas, a dedicated family lounge is laid out as a children’s play area and is equipped with sliding partitions to give the space flexibility as needed. When the parents are entertaining, the partitions can be closed so the children can have an independent area and clear, respectful boundaries. The lounge can also function as a guest room, ensuring long-term adaptability.
