The 360-square-meter residence is organized with a clear spatial hierarchy from public to private areas. The living room, dining room, and multi-purpose space form an open yet layered public zone that fully embraces the surrounding landscape. The kitchen emphasizes efficiency and integrated storage, while the private areas focus on comfort, relaxation, and diverse living scenarios including daily life, social interaction, solitude, and rest.

A black-and-white palette defines the overall tone, complemented by antique mirrors, stainless steel, stone, and mother-of-pearl finishes. Reflective surfaces enhance the flow of light and scenery within the interior. Accents of “Fen River Blue” transform regional identity into a subtle poetic expression, achieving a balance between Eastern calmness and French refinement.

The key design achievement of this project lies in transforming the 270-degree panoramic urban and natural view from a mere backdrop into the core organizing logic of the interior space. A continuous visual axis runs through the living room, dining area, and multi-purpose space, drawing the landscape deeply into the interior and redefining the spatial order of the public areas, where circulation, sightlines, and natural light are highly integrated. Reflective and metallic surfaces are extensively used to extend spatial perception without increasing physical volume, allowing light and scenery to overlap and flow throughout the interior. The multi-purpose room is inspired by the concept of the traditional Chinese screen, achieving a balance between openness and separation while enabling flexible transitions between reading, social interaction, and private retreat. The round dining table is subtly inserted into the rational spatial framework, responding to the Eastern philosophy of “round and square” and introducing a humane, tactile scale into the restrained overall atmosphere. Rather than pursuing visual impact through formal gestures, the project emphasizes the coordinated control of order, proportion, light, and materiality to create a living environment that is open, layered, and sustainable in long-term use.
