About The Entry

This concept project explores the design of a Coca-Cola themed workplace in Zhengzhou, China, aiming to translate the youthful energy, openness, and cultural identity of the Coca-Cola brand into a dynamic office environment.

One of the most distinctive spatial features is a textured wall inspired by the silhouette of the classic Coca-Cola can. Repeated across the entire surface, the white can shape forms a sculptural wall while also presenting the brand’s history and celebrity collaborations. The installation transforms a simple wall into a narrative element, celebrating Coca-Cola’s cultural legacy and reinforcing the identity of the workplace. Another feature wall combines the visual language of shipping containers with Coca-Cola design elements. The container imagery symbolises global distribution and the idea that Coca-Cola can reach consumers around the world, while the wall filled with repeated Coca-Cola can forms suggests a container fully loaded with the brand’s products.

The office environment integrates collaborative workspaces, meeting rooms, relaxation areas, cafés, and staff basketball courts to support focused work, informal interaction, and recreational activities. Brand identity is subtly embedded throughout the interior through colour, materials, and spatial gestures. In the meeting rooms, red walls and Coca-Cola graphic elements reinforce the visual language of the brand while maintaining a clean and professional atmosphere. Public social spaces introduce warmer and more energetic tones. Orange-painted ceiling pipes and matching lounge furniture bring vitality to the break areas, while white marble and walnut herringbone flooring define circulation paths and social zones. Circulation areas use red, orange, and white colour blocks to guide movement toward the staircase, where a red perforated steel structure becomes a visual focal point. Light passing through the openings casts patterned reflections onto the white walls, creating the impression of a “rain of red”. In the café area, a Coca-Cola free drink zone allows employees to enjoy different beverages through a pipeline-inspired installation, turning the space into a playful celebration of the brand’s culture and energy.

Although conceived as an unbuilt proposal, the project demonstrates how brand identity can shape workplace environments and create an engaging and memorable office experience.
