The LUMINOUS GARDENS

At the Baroque Garden of Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, light becomes a medium for reconnecting heritage, nature, and contemporary creativity.



Through interactive installations, projection mapping, and immersive soundscapes, the historic tobacco factory and its surrounding landscape are transformed into a luminous nighttime environment. Light pillars rise like living plants from the ground, dandelion seeds carry visitors’ wishes across global exhibition sites, and large-scale projections animate the architectural façade with memories of industry, railway culture, and contemporary urban life.



Rather than a conventional light display, the project curates a spatial narrative where history, imagination, and public participation unfold together. The Baroque Garden becomes a breathing cultural stage—an inviting place where visitors wander through light, experience the poetry of the site, and rediscover the layered stories embedded within the historic landscape.
