About The Entry

Limnage Qingxiangxing (Light-Flavor) Baijiu re-envisions the narrative of traditional spirits through a forward-looking design language. Its visual soul is anchored in the Reuleaux triangle—a geometric archetype of constant width symbolizing equilibrium and boundaries—which precisely echoes the brand's "Liminality" concept. This conceptualization masterfully integrates the rigorous logic of Western geometry with the poetic Eastern philosophy of the natural grace of fish thriving in water. Beyond cultural metaphor, the design embodies a profound reverence for marine ecological conservation, advocating for a symbiotic balance between human tradition and the planet’s aquatic ecosystems.

Departing from the redundant ornamentation of traditional spirits, Limnage utilizes a sculptural minimalist aesthetic to achieve a profound unity between the liquid’s crystalline essence and its external vessel. The design adopts a premium palette of metallic champagne gold and translucent water-green to create an intensely futuristic atmosphere of luxury. Through crisp geometric facets and a diaphanous window design, the bottle intuitively reveals the internal 3D water-ripple texture, reinforcing the theme of protecting pure, unpolluted water sources amidst the rhythmic interplay of light.

The core of this innovation lies in its avant-garde modular structure: by extracting the arc-shaped profiles of the Reuleaux triangle, four independent bottles can be horizontally assembled to form a complete “fish” motif. This transformation from individual units to an artistic installation reinforces the “ritual of opening” while advocating for the sustainable reusability of packaging. By selecting bespoke glass and eco-friendly acrylic materials, Limnage fulfills its commitment to reducing marine microplastics, ensuring that high-end packaging coexists harmoniously with aquatic biodiversity.

By translating traditional totems into an international visual language, the project breaks down cultural barriers and creates a lasting sensory imprint. It conveys the core value of “technology empowering tradition and aesthetics preserving the ocean,” standing out in a competitive market to establish a benchmark for the international transformation of Chinese Baijiu—positioning the brand as an industry leader that embodies both cultural elegance and global ecological responsibility.
