Le Lac L 'ermitage

This project was designed and created by Ruihe Design, inspired by the hidden beauty of Xianghu Lake, rooted in Eastern philosophy, abandoning symbolic expression, and using a modern design language to outline a contemporary elegant and luxurious living space, allowing the body and mind to resonate in harmony with the lake and mountain scenery. The design extracts the natural imagery of the Xianghu waterfront and mountains, abstractly integrating the tranquility of the lake and the resilience of the mountains into the spatial structure, with minimalist lines as the framework and natural materials as the soul, creating a rich layering within restraint, achieving the Eastern aesthetic of 'though made by human hands, it appears naturally created.'



The underground space features a 9-meter × 7-meter super-large open area paired with a curved luxury stone feature wall, woven together with materials such as velvet artistic paint, metal, and luxury stone. The water bar area blends with the display of trendy collectibles, and the use of empty space allows for the flow of spatial ambiance, creating a social art environment that is both grand and serene. The reception room centers around Brazilian luxury stone 'Hai Na Bai Chuan,' with textures echoing the topography of Xianghu Lake. Liquid metal paint, marble inlays, and warm lighting intertwine, revealing delicacy within the openness.



In the dining and kitchen area, a minimalist composition incorporates a warm and gentle texture; the study conceals a literary ambiance and inspiration; bedrooms create an elegant resting atmosphere through the collision of materials; and the bathroom space outlines quiet luxury through marble inlays. Throughout the spaces, the interplay of warm and cool materials, the balance of emptiness and solidity, condenses the scenery of Xianghu Lake into a limited space, making the home a tangible microcosm of Xianghu Lake, achieving the coexistence of seclusion and elegant luxury, reconstructing a contemporary living model in resonance with the lake.
