About The Entry

A Menorcan house located in the historic center of Mahón, built in 1876, very representative of the urban residential typology of its time. The property is a single-family townhouse between party walls, consisting of a basement, three upper floors, and a roof level, with both the main and rear façades facing Plaça Padronet.

The house originally had a vertical layout, with load-bearing walls made of marés (a typical local stone), timber beam and joist floor structures, and a basement featuring infill and groin vaults. Over time, the building had fallen into a progressive state of neglect, with structural and material deterioration affecting nearly all of its architectural elements.

The intervention is rooted in a deep understanding of this constructive reality and its relationship with the immediate surroundings. Orientation, natural ventilation, and the soft entry of Mediterranean light through the existing openings became the key drivers of the project, enhancing the dialogue between interior and exterior spaces. Throughout the renovation, all representative architectural elements—characteristic of the island’s heritage—have been carefully preserved and restored, and seamlessly integrated into a refined concept that coexists with contemporary designer furniture from brands we represent, such as antoniolupi, Lema, Meridiani, e15, among others.

Our concept of a showroom differs greatly from a conventional one. Rather than presenting products in abstract settings, we curate living environments within real spaces inside an actual home. This allows clients to truly imagine themselves living there, moving effortlessly through the rooms as if they were already their own—immersed in a serene Mediterranean lifestyle, where noble materials, warm textures, and natural light create an atmosphere of understated luxury, calm, and timeless elegance.
