Inked Side

About The Entry

The site is an old apartment. The project is named "Inked Side" because of its color palette and atmosphere. The client is a family of four who prefers dark tones. The design team took this as the core to achieve a "hotel-like" and "modern style" in the grayscale color scheme.

In the planning of the ceiling, flooring, and walls, the design team maximized the sense of space. For example, the rounded frame of the ceiling is painted with different shades of diatom to show the effect of upper and lower layers, as if the vertical axis could be extended upwards. Natural stone and wood veneer are used in the open plan, and their natural texture encloses a nature-like space. Finally, the floor is covered with wood grain and earthy-tone building materials, allowing light to create harmony. In the hotel-like space, the client's family can enjoy the perfect home constructed by natural light and modern design.
