About The Entry

‘Hangeul’ is a unique Korean alphabet created by King Sejong in 1446. ‘Hangeul Proclamation Day’ is a national holiday designated as October 9 to commemorate the proclamation of Hangeul and to encourage the spread and research of Hangeul. In 2023, We designed a poster to commemorate the 577th Hangeul Proclamation Day. It was intended to geometrically express the combination of consonants and vowels through the word "read-write-speak" in Hangul, the easiest and most beautiful character in the world. Through this, I would like to show that Hangeul is a scientific character that is easy to read, write, and speak.
