About The Entry

The stage design for *HeartBreakFast* explores the themes of waiting and missed connections. Inspired by the ordered structure of piano keys, the design translates subtle emotional states into spatial language through rhythmic repetition and intentional displacement.

Regular geometric elements symbolize the progression of time and emotional order, while shifts, gaps, and misalignments represent the small yet irreversible distances that emerge between people. Rather than relying on elaborate scenery or literal storytelling, the stage employs a minimalist architectural approach, allowing audiences to project their own experiences onto the performance.

As light, visuals, and music activate the space, the stage becomes more than a performance platform—it functions as a medium that amplifies emotion. Balancing order and disruption, restraint and melancholy, the design reflects the dual character of the music while exploring the potential of concert staging as a form of emotional storytelling.
