Sway Country Home Kitchen

Set within a country home in Sway, this kitchen was designed to make the most of its lakeside setting. The brief was to create a calm, practical and elegant space that felt closely connected to the terrace and view beyond.

The defining feature is the panoramic window, set below worktop height to frame the lake from within the kitchen. To make this possible, Dream Design placed the sink within the island, keeping the main exterior wall free from cabinetry and allowing the view to remain open and uninterrupted.

The island forms the centre of the room, bringing together preparation, washing, casual dining and conversation. A cantilevered breakfast bar creates an easy place to sit, while the layout keeps the kitchen clear, open and comfortable to move through.

The material palette combines depth and warmth with a quiet sense of refinement. SieMatic cabinetry in rich brown tones is paired with bronze detailing, warm oak and soft grey work surfaces. Tall glazed cabinets add display and depth, while book-matched marble-effect wall panels create a composed focal point.

Every detail was considered to support the feeling of one complete room: calm, ordered and connected to its surroundings.

The result is a lake-view kitchen that feels generous, elegant and easy to live in. It is a space shaped around light, landscape and the everyday rituals of home.
