The Circular Prototype

The homeowner in this case is a senior engineer working for a technology company based in the United States. Considering the need to accompany and care for their elderly parents, they have chosen to settle down and live in Taiwan. They plan to work remotely while desiring more quality time with their family.

Therefore, in response to the homeowner's expectations of "constant companionship with family" and "a home office environment resembling a US office," the design team incorporated curved elements into every corner, symbolizing the concept of family reunion. Additionally, they used the concept of "creativity" and "circle" to connect people and technology work, giving birth to the project called "The Circular Prototype."





The front and rear spaces of the living room are designed as areas for interactive conversations and a serene reading and working space. The interweaving of these two spaces highlights the close and bidirectional connection among family members.



We have chosen a special paint that possesses advantages such as breathability, environmental friendliness, and non-toxicity. It belongs to eco-friendly building materials, ensuring a healthy home environment. Additionally, it regulates humidity and decomposing odors, making it particularly suitable for multi-generational households.
