VICUTU HEADQUATERS OFFICE RENOVATION LIGHTING DESIGN

VICUTU is an influential men's clothing brand in China. This office building is the headquarters of VICUTU in Beijing. It contains multiple functions such as clothing design, marketing, and administrative offices. Before the lighting renovation, we interviewed the owner, who proposed several reasons for lighting renovation : the existing lamps are old and damaged, and the effect at night is not good; the current architectural lighting can’t present the corporate headquarters; Lack of scene modes, such as the mode with guests visiting, the normal mode, and the late-night office mode, so that it cannot meet the daily office and reception needs of the enterprise; the lighting of buildings and gardens is not bright enough to meet functional lighting needs at night.

After the lighting renovation, the owner hopes to convey a corporate culture that is fashionable but not unusual,high-quality, elegant but not ostentatious, layered, delicate, multi-scene mode, efficient and energy-saving. As a fashion design building, it should be innovative and technological.

During the day, the building is presented with a glass curtain wall. At night, the owner hopes to use light to show the inner space that is not reflected during the day, including the internal honeycomb-shaped atrium, the intermediate walking ladder from the first floor to the top floor, and the internal sculpture display.

During the lighting renovation, we conducted a large number of lighting experiments, some of which were evaluated inside the office building. This is different from the lighting design of new projects. The design process always revolves around interviews with the owners. After many communications and renovation evaluations, we finally presented the client a very satisfactory nighttime effect of the headquarters office building.
