KAMAGAYA ART CLINIC

The project is to build a fertility clinic.

The design concept is a space where light and wind can pass through.



There are no tall buildings adjacent to the land on which this building is built, so it was a place with good sunlight and air flow, and as a result of hearing from people undergoing infertility treatment, I heard that while undergoing infertility treatment, they really feel very anxious and gloomy, so I wanted to at least ease those feelings when they come here and make them feel comfortable, I was thinking about how I wanted to help them and make their anxiety disappear and so, this concept derived naturally.



Also based on that concept,

I decided to design a space with a sacred atmosphere.

This is because our patients come to us with the feeling that they are praying for a healthy child to be born soon, and we wanted to create a space where their prayers could reach God, even if just a little.



The main materials used also have meaning.

The wood used for the furniture and walls is beech wood, which we chose because in Greek mythology it was a tree dedicated to the sky god Zeus and is said to symbolise prosperity, victory, etc.

Marble is also known as a power stone and is said to have a calming effect.

The paint used is also photocatalytic paint, which has an air purifying effect.



The design was created with the hope that the feelings of as many people as possible will be put at ease and their will come true.
