RENATHING is a twelve year old Chinese clothing design brand, the main manager is a fashion designer, rena is her name, thing is what she likes and insists on.
The project is inspired by the fusion of Western culture and local conditions. The urban landscape is often a source of inspiration for us, and it is important to understand our environment. The uniqueness of the project automatically emerges from researching the environment and the history of the project, while the surrounding environment tends to be grey and monotonous, we wanted to give the project a clean and bright feel!
The project is a stand-alone three-storey old building located at the corner of a crossroads, which is a persistent and challenging, but at the same time rare, architectural environment and location. Considering the age of the original building structure and the harsh weather of northern winters, the building appearance in the planning, we are from time to time to consider the relationship between the design and people, we do not want him to be showy or imposed, but can be felt naturally, and decided to use an array of façade windows, and to increase the number of windows, after the aesthetic size of the consideration of the final determination of the length and height of the windows, to ensure that the indoor The length and height of the windows were determined after aesthetic dimensioning, to ensure that the interior is permeable to light and at the same time connects and interacts with the external environment, such as the weather, the seasons, and the light. The material used is matte limestone, with natural holes to give the impression of breathing, while considering that the brand's dark coloured clothes are predominant, echoing the light coloured stone, making it easier to highlight the clothing.
