This project covers an area of 13,510.2 square meters, encompasses a gravel public garden, eight medium-sized courtyard gardens, and ecological moss landscapes. Our goal was to transform this land into a rural resort area that combines leisure, tourism, and ecological functionality, using unique landscaping design, and to stimulate rural employment and urban-rural exchange.

Architectural Characteristics: The architectural project consists of multiple scattered courtyards, each with a considerable scale. It was crucial to connect these courtyards through landscape design. Considering the microclimates of each courtyard, it was necessary to allocate appropriate plants accordingly.

The landscape is predominantly characterized by a yellowish soil tone. The garden design incorporates shades of blue and gray, interspersed with hints of yellow, pink, and white, creating a romantic and cool gray palette. The vibrant garden stands in stark contrast to the barrenness of the surrounding wilderness. For example, Colorado Blue Spruce, blue Fescus, and spectralfern, among other blue-toned plants, create a serene and beautiful atmosphere. Long-lasting Lindheimer's beeblossom adds a dynamic touch, resembling strokes from a dry brush that break up the heavy color blocks.

The unique geographical environment of the Shanxi Loess Plateau adds to the garden's distinctiveness. With cool summers and intense sunlight, the flower colors become even more vibrant, and their blooming period stretches longer than on the plains. The lush foliage of autumn, in particular, is the garden's most beautiful and eagerly anticipated season. Around the buildings, shade-loving flower paths are planted, imitating the high-altitude native vegetation, and white birch trees are also cultivated.

Through the combination of local and introduced plants, scientific cultivation techniques, and principles of naturalistic design, we aim to create a Peach and Plum Fragrant Garden that not only attracts urban tourists but also resonates with the local community. Our vision is to create a place that brings pleasure to the eyes and provides solace to the soul, a harmonious ecological landscape that blends nature and culture.
