Crafted by Hong Kong designer Raymond Jones, the "Aurora of Arthur" is a unique watch inspired by the legendary King Arthur, designed to be a wearable emblem of courage and resilience. The project began in 2019 and reached completion in August 2023, it combines legendary elements with modern functionality.

The watch harmoniously blends various elements drawn from Arthurian legends:

Dial: Fabricated from natural mother-of-pearl, featuring a distinct fume effect to illustrate life's fluctuating scenarios.

Hour markers and hands: Shaped to resemble ancient swords and armours, evoking bravery and resilience.

Open-heart movement: Visible mechanics represent courage and the spirit to forge ahead.

Watch crown: Crown-shaped and crystalline, adding a royal flair.

Case: Reflects dragon scale armour, portraying a potent, mythical aura.

Despite the detailed narrative captured in its components, it offers clear time reading and suits a broad spectrum of wrist sizes. A distinctive aspect is its interchangeable band system, allowing wearers to personalize it to their style.

Manufactured with 316L steel, the watch is durable and features a 3D dual-dragon carving on the rotor, becoming a focal point of the design. It assures readability in dim settings through the Swiss Super-Luminova enhancement and provides 100-meter water resistance for versatility in various environments.

Technical details include a 40 x 47 mm case, 13 mm thickness, and Japanese Miyota automatic movement. These specifications stand testament to the project’s adherence to superior craftsmanship while offering a functional accessory for both casual and formal settings.
