deca joins 2024 Heaven & Dirt Concert

The concert theme "Heaven & Dirt" is from deca joins' latest album, describing how we would spend our time when we have different encounters on the journey of life. The "Round Sky and Square Earth" was the first imagination of the world by ancient people. Although it was eventually proved to be a fallacy, it is a testimony to humankind's repeated experiments and explorations, and their desire to validate their own worldview.

This spirit echoes the perspective of life in the songs, and is the basis for the design concept of the concert. The cycle of "water", the main element of deca joins' creation, leads the audience to experience their own repeated experiments and explorations.

In response to the theme of this concert, the stage design transformed "Round Sky and Square Earth" into a physical symbol, using circular lighting structures to form the main space on the top, and rectangular LED screens to depict the ground. The focus is on how to give the audience an impressive yet simple and powerful visual experience.

At the huge circular lighting structure, we try to add a mellow lighting gradation in the lighting design, as if it is the projection of light from the real celestial body's rotation.

This huge circular structure is not only above the main stage, but also spans over the heads of the audience in the front area, so that the lighting atmosphere can be more integrated and penetrated into the audience, so that the whole area is immersed in the context of the performance.

When the audience entered the venue, they could see a rectangular LED screen occupying the entire stage. When the show starts, the banner LED is pulled upwards, and another rectangular LED can be seen behind the band, so that the artists can be visually covered by the image, and at the same time, the stage has different levels of variation.

Because deca joins' music is characterized by unimaginable arranging details, so we put the music first when integrating all the designs, eliminating the essentials, making everything more comprehensible and touching the audience’s heart directly.
