NANJING SHOUKAI JINMAO PALACE

As the latest installment of Jin Mao's Mansion 3.0, Nanjing Taoyuan Jin Mao Mansion, located in the heart of Nanjing's Gulou Taoyuan area, carries a profound regional sentiment with its advantageous location. This case starts from tracing the ancient and modern glory of Jinling, and serves as a starting point for design expression in the inheritance of Jinling culture and the deepening of contemporary Nanjing life. Rooted in urban memory and traditional culture, the overall planning of Jinmao Prefecture in Taoyuan is inspired by the composition and evolution of streets and alleys in the old city of Nanjing, to extend the flow of connecting and circulating different functional spaces, and thus connect the sales office space with temporary exhibition properties and the pan club area set up on elevated floors.

Based on the sales oriented functional demands of the sales office space in the early stage, reception, shallow negotiation, and sand table functions have been designed and configured here. Decor complexity into simplicity, with a classic and minimalist spatial impression as the core, aiming to meet the needs of the later delivery of the project and restore it to the entrance lobby with minimal demolition and renovation. The background of the reception desk is inspired by the ancient city walls of Nanjing. The design uses etched metal facades to create a linear cutting texture, echoing the arrangement of the ancient city walls. The etched texture of the metal mottled texture, combined with the warm and smooth texture of the marble, creates the first impression of an elegant and charming space.
