The project is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, an important birthplace of Chinese tea culture with a long history and deep cultural heritage. However, under the influence of modern urbanization, the way in which the local tea culture is disseminated and experienced has been subject to new challenges. Traditional tea culture display spaces are relatively scattered and single-form, making it difficult to attract the attention of the younger generation; at the same time, the integration of tea culture with the natural environment has not been fully explored.

To address these challenges, the project aims to work toward reconnecting tea culture, nature and modern lifestyles, with tradition and innovation at its core. The design is Inspired by the natural form of tea trees and leaves, combines streamlined architecture with bionic design to create an artistic space that showcases the softness and vitality of tea leaves. creates a cultural space that respects tradition and looks toward the future. The building adopts open space design, blending with the forest and water scenery, allowing light and shadow and mountain wind to travel freely, creating an atmosphere of harmonious coexistence between human and nature.

The spatial layout revolves around the form of tea, including a teahouse, art exhibition hall, academic research centre, cultural salon and other multi-functional modules, to meet the world's diverse cultural exchange needs. By reinterpreting Zhejiang tea culture through modern design language, the project not only solves the problem of a single form of tea culture dissemination, but also provides a new experience space integrating nature and art, creating a tea culture space that is deeply compatible with modern life.
