Frozen Moon

The project, titled "Frozen Moon," is intended to convey a home atmosphere that is as tranquil and gentle as moonlight. To reflect the distinctly different tastes of the couple while naturally integrating the child's playful spirit, the space is primarily styled in a clean, bright white accented with subtly gray tones and refined details, emphasizing minimal decoration with a warm touch. For the child, the designer incorporated abundant curved elements to soften sharp edges for safety while also echoing the lunar motif. Through a human-centered circulation design and a harmonious use of curved forms, the overall ambiance is as serene as a moonlit night yet infused with vitality, capturing the soft, pure beauty of home.

[Settled Emotions]

In the social area, the designer used a curved arch to delineate the foyer from the living room, evoking the feel of a spaceship cabin and crafting an ambiance that transports one to another world. The living room ceiling, accented with L-shaped light strips and interwoven with glass, casts translucent, futuristic patterns of light and shadow reminiscent of flowing moonlight. Behind the sofa, a semi-open display cabinet was installed to showcase figurines and mug collections, adding playful accents to the understated, elegant backdrop.

Both the arch and the corridor walls feature curved designs that not only reflect the lunar theme but also underscore the family’s unity. Behind the TV wall, the space is artfully divided into a piano lounge and a dressing area. Through precise layout planning that balances functionality and fluid circulation, the small family can enjoy a range of living experiences all within one harmonious space.

Together, these details—linked by the motifs of “curves” and “moonlight”—create an atmosphere as gentle and unpressured as a moonlit night, highlighting the designer’s refined ability to weave narrative into interior design.
