2025 NEW TAIPEI CITY ZHONGGANG LIGHT FESTIVAL

With the central theme of “Violet Dreamscape,” the design connects symbols of love and beauty. Through soft hues and radiant lights, it creates a dreamy atmosphere that bridges nature and the human spirit. Guiding visitors to immerse themselves in the surrounding landscapes, it evokes a journey from mind to spirit – where they experience the harmony and wonder of the universe, crafting a grand feast for both the eyes and the heart.

The creative vision and purpose of the environment lighting are to immerse visitors in a poetic realm, allowing them to rediscover the beauty and preciousness of nature. By harmonizing visual aesthetics, sensory experiences, and emotional connections, the design conveys the profound values of love and preservation.

The 2025 New Taipei City Zhonggang Light Festival runs from February 26 to March 23, 2025. The event features a 5-meter-tall “Goddess of Light” display standing proudly on the Confidence Bridge, symbolizing blessings and protection. With over three million LED lights illuminating four main exhibition zones, the festival utilizes gentle lighting effects to craft a fairy-tale-like, heartwarming experience that embodies inner purity and beauty.

The exhibition features four main lighting zones: “Dreamy Zone,” “Art Zone,” “Hope Zone,” and “Happiness Zone.” The dazzling lights and sculpted projections along the winding riverside create a dreamlike modern palace. So far, the number of visitors has reached 480,000, setting a new record. As a result, the event has been extended by one week until March 30, inviting more people to experience the enchanting display of lights.

In the planning and design of the environment lighting, the design team upholds the principle of health and sustainability. The carefully selected natural and eco-friendly materials not only enhance visual appeal but also integrate sensory engagement with user experience, allowing visitors to interact with nature, sustainability, and co-existence.

Here, each light beam represents blessing, and every color tells a story of love and beauty. The exhibition features four zones: Dreamscape, Art, Hope, and Happiness. The Baroque ornate arch showcases timeless elegance, while Dandelion Dreamland symbolizes the boundless hopes of youth. Meanwhile, the Heart of Zhonggang radiates warmth and joy.
