Curved Coastal Haven

The design centers around open spaces and flexible functional areas, using curved elements to soften the visual effect and enhance spatial flow. Natural materials and warm gray tones are combined with wicker and wood materiality, to present a natural atmosphere.

Elements inspired from the Taitung coastline are incorporated, bringing the imagery of beaches and waves into the home, creating a comfortable and regionally distinctive living space.

The design inspiration comes from the homeowners’ love for the Taitung coastline and the extension of natural landscapes. Imagery associated with nature such as beach, coastline, and driftwood are integrated into their modern living. Curved designs on the floors and walls replace the overly standardized layout, creating a living environment with a sense of rhythm that better suits the residents' lifestyle.

The curved walls, floors, and minimalist materials not only clarify the visual layers of the space but also amplify the sense of spaciousness, resolving the cramped feeling brought by previous partitions.
