Cathay Courtyard is located in Fuyang District, Hangzhou, a region renowned for its beautiful scenery, embodying the essence of a typical Jiangnan water town. The architectural design adopts a new Chinese-style courtyard concept, inheriting the rich cultural heritage of the East while showcasing the ancient hierarchical traditions of China. The overall home decor continues the essence of Eastern aesthetics, with the designer’s deep understanding of "mountains and water" and "space" brought to life in the design. This creates a space that embodies Chinese nobility and ritual, while echoing the local Jiangnan landscape, evoking the tranquility of a hidden mountain retreat.

The materials feature expansive use of silk-textured fabrics, stone, and metals, laying the foundation for an overall atmosphere of luxury. Crystal and embroidery are used in select areas, paired with the wood finishes,highlight the artistic and distinguished quality of a traditional Chinese mansion. Warm yellow complemented by indigo, pine green, and touches of ochre red, creating a visual impression of Eastern luxury.
