Modi is a generative AI-powered platform designed to transform forgotten objects into creative and functional works. It provides an intuitive, playful, and empowering creative space for environmental advocates, design enthusiasts, and young makers—redefining “useless things” in our homes as starting points for inspiration.

In an era dominated by overproduction and excessive consumption, traditional recycling can often feel remote, passive, and uninspiring. Modi offers a tangible alternative through upcycling—the creative transformation of discarded items into objects of greater value and renewed purpose. It empowers everyone to take part in hands-on sustainable design, turning vintage phones, broken chairs, or worn-out jeans into one-of-a-kind lamps, planters, and organizers—breathing new life into what was once seen as waste.

Modi is more than just an image generation tool; it bridges the full journey from inspiration to creation. By simply uploading photos of an old item, users receive AI-generated upcycling ideas with detailed, beginner-friendly tutorials. They can also customize the style of the design—minimal, creative, vintage—and fine-tune colors or structural details to match their personal taste. AR functionality allows users to preview their designs in real-world spaces, while the platform automatically calculates the CO₂ reduction for each project, turning creativity into measurable environmental impact.

Modi is not just a tool, but a movement—a daily act of redefining the value of discarded materials. It brings sustainable design into everyday life with warmth, accessibility, and creative delight, encouraging everyone to start small and rediscover the hidden potential in what’s been overlooked.

With Modi, waste is not the end—but the beginning of creativity.
