/ Landmark on a Long and Narrow Site

Located in central Fengshan district north of Weiwuying Military district and beneath the Jianguo Interchange, the project occupies a key transportation node and serves as a spatial urban landmark. Spanning 200 meters along the street, the eastern side houses a two-story service station and fueling station, while the western end features an eight-story office building.

/ Port City Image and Urban Gateway

Positioned at the gateway into Kaohsiung’s harbor city, the overall spatial design adopts folded planes and curved forms as a transformation of harbor image.

/ CPC Enterprise Identity

In addition to meeting complex functional demands, the office building showcases efficiency through a clean and refined façade. Artificial stone panels embedded in the exterior grilles lend a sense of dynamic fluidity to the otherwise static surface. Oil splash patterns on structural glass and a droplet-shaped corner meeting room symbolically reflect the company’s core identity.

/ Sustainable Design

Awarded the Diamond-level Green Building candidate emblem, the building mitigates western heat with semi-outdoor stairwells, and uses double-skin aluminum façades on the east to generate a chimney effect. The south is buffered by vertical shafts and elevator lobbies, with grilles providing shading. Large north-facing windows incorporate anti-glare grilles. The roof features thin-layer greenery and 92kWp of translucent BIPV solar panels.

/ Human-Friendly Environmental Design

Facing a complex four-way intersection, a recessed corner plaza offers space for civic activities and pubic art. On the north side, adjacent to public housing, the upper volume is rotated and set back to preserve distance and privacy.
