This riverside holiday home is envisioned as a serene retreat—an escape from the stress and fast pace of city life. The design prioritizes spaciousness, hospitality, and a seamless connection to nature, maximizing breathtaking views from dawn to sunset.

Central to the concept is creating an environment where the client can truly breathe and unwind. To enhance the dining experience and social interaction, one bedroom was removed to expand the dining area, allowing for generous gathering space. The kitchen is subtly divided by a compact counter bar, cleverly concealing appliances while maintaining openness and fluidity. Leisure and entertainment are thoughtfully integrated with a concealed mini cocktail bar within discreet storage adjacent to the dining area—offering both sophistication and convenience.

The TV wall becomes a natural focal point through the use of carefully selected stone, evoking the universe’s timeless presence and grounding the space with earthy elegance. The color palette harmoniously blends smooth fabrics with textured stone, balanced against the solid, natural wood dining table from south America measuring 2.9 meters in length. This table anchors the space and embodies a tasteful fusion of Eastern Zen minimalism and Western French Neoclassical symmetry, echoed by the custom storage cabinetry that balances form and function.

The master bedroom continues the narrative of nature and cultural fusion, with an emphasis on symmetry and subtle sophistication. The headboard and the opposite wall feature a delicate Chinese floral wallpaper pattern, blending Eastern motifs with Western design principles, creating a tranquil sanctuary that reflects the client’s appreciation for natural harmony.

This design exemplifies balance—in materials, form, and cultural inspiration—transforming a riverside apartment into a timeless haven for relaxation, connection, and refined living.
