Lumen Rise Sunlight Lamp

Lumen Rise is a personal wellness lamp that brings the full spectrum and dynamic qualities of natural daylight indoors. Designed for sun-deprived spaces, it uses bio-mimetic technology to deliver light frequencies that support Vitamin D and melatonin production. By convincing both the body and mind that it is under a real sky, it effectively boosts energy, focus, and mood, transforming any room into a revitalising sanctuary. I plan to design a light that not only provides physical benefits—such as stimulating vitamin D and melatonin production—but also supports mental well-being, an area often overlooked by current products. My goal is to create a light that closely mimics real sunlight in both appearance and effect, helping users feel as though they are experiencing natural sunlight. By "tricking" the brain into believing the light is real. This product is specifically designed to address the ongoing challenges related to limited natural light in living spaces. It aims to meet the needs of specific user groups—such as shared rental homes, cage homes, and apartments that lack sufficient sunlight exposure—by providing an effective and accessible solution to improve their overall living environment and well-being. This product includes features such as adjustable light colour and angle, along with a specially designed sunlight-mimicking mode that promotes the natural production of melatonin and vitamin D—offering both functional flexibility and health benefits.
