Creativity and human centric innovation: Zhida Group is a leading enterprise in China's textile and soft furnishings industry. Its headquarters in Foshan, Guangdong consists of three existing old buildings, i.e. block A/B/C. The core of the design is how to revitalize and upgrade a total of 15000 square meters of existing buildings, transforming the old space into a headquarters landmark building complex with cross departmental collaboration functions, efficient operation, green and low-carbon, and reflecting the height of corporate culture and art. Architects use an integrated design strategy of architecture, landscape, interior, and lighting to create new creative spaces and landmark architectural statement, activating community vitality and urban landscapes. At the same time, innovative technologies are used to rebuild the sensitive connection between humans and nature, creating low-carbon, energy-efficient, sustainable, ecological friendly and culturally rich spaces.



Usability: The project is a composite corporate headquarters that integrates office working space, art exhibitions, conference and training, sports and fitness, urban farms, and catering and banquets. In terms of floor layout, the lower zone of building is mainly for product and art exhibitions, the middle zone is for offices, conferences, staff restaurants, and activity centers, and the higher zone is for corporate clubs, urban farms, and rooftop gardens. Based on the need for sufficient and flexible spatial interaction and emotional communication between different departments and floors in the corporate headquarters, the design first involves structural demolition and renovation of different floors in the vertical direction, creating a series of vertical courtyards and ecological gardens inside, thereby improving the natural ventilation and lighting of the old building, and bringing a free artistic atmosphere and diverse social scenes.



Commercial and societal success: The project has successfully reshaped an elegant, distinctive, and highly identical corporate image for the client, providing a vibrant and eco-friendly workspace for employees and a vivacious urban landscape for the community and city. Particularly as many citizens passing by at night have said, this iconic architecture is so appropriate, dazzling, elegant and vibrant, beloved and impressive, making the dull old city magically refreshing and charming.
