Dalian Qingshui Tile Platform

Located in the coastal city of Dalian, this collaborative design adopts a relaxed and poetic architectural language to create the "Qingshui Tile Terrace"—a space that captures the rhythm of life through immersive and artistic spatial narratives. The lobby serves as both a functional service center and a symbolic stage for a journey into flowing water and time. A long fireplace echoes the surrounding water, balancing fire and water elements to evoke imagination and emotion. The entire space unfolds like a grand drama. Concrete shapes and fluid forms encourage interaction, while detailed decorative elements evoke a dreamlike atmosphere. Gradient sunset hues light the space, casting reflections on walls and floors, and enhancing material transitions from stone to ground. Light, shadow, and time flow freely, creating emotional resonance and spatial rhythm. Curved amber metal structures, mosaic backdrops, and glowing light strips amplify the visual drama. The collision of red and white tones—calm yet vibrant—guides visitors through a narrative of light and movement. A white spiral staircase and the “Rose Waterfall” installation form the dramatic centerpiece known as the RoseWhitePagoda, highlighting the poetic depth of the curved space. Functional needs are seamlessly integrated: reading areas, sunken lounges, e-sports zones, and modular grid rooms offer varied social and personal spaces. Curved lines carve out semi-private zones, while a semi-outdoor sofa area, connected by a landscape window, extends the interaction with nature. Wooden partitions divide space with elegance, casting soft shadows that dance with plant decorations and natural light. The private hot spring area embraces organic curves and a white palette to create a pure, peaceful, and dreamlike environment. Inspired by water’s shape and flow, the design blends modern techniques with a futuristic touch to express a low-key yet emotionally rich lifestyle. The Qingshui Tile Terrace becomes a sanctuary where structure, light, and imagination merge into an unforgettable spatial experience.
