About The Entry

This project is more than a hospital, but a meticulously engineered "healing architectural masterpiece." It perfectly blends efficient healthcare with humanistic care in a high-density urban environment through exceptional designs.

With the "Tendon and Bone Theory" at its design core, this project transforms architecture into an organic living entity: White aluminum panels form the rhythmic "bones", while corridors and vertical grilles create the network of "tendons". The vertical and horizontal lines not only reflect the characteristics of an orthopedic hospital but also construct a unique urban landmark that combines professionalism with humanism.

This project introduces a landscape axis to tackle the terrain challenges, combined with an innovative "Ring of Life" to connect the old and new buildings, reshaping the urban image while perfecting the medical system. It also incorporates multiple human-centric designs, such as the centralized rooftop garden, creating a distinct identity, providing a healing environment for patients, and contributing to the city's ecological development.

This project deeply integrates technological innovation. It embraces an intelligent logistics system (pneumatic tube, track, AGV, and robotic systems) with comprehensive barrier-free accessibility, building an efficient and smart medical environment.

Furthermore, this project strictly adheres to medical workflows, ensuring high efficiency and safety through comprehensive flow segregation (people, vehicles, clean/dirty), which lowers cross-infection risks and streamlines patient routes. Guided by a sustainable design philosophy, this project includes a rooftop micro-circulation ecological garden system that utilizes collected rainwater for self-irrigation, meeting the standards of green buildings and creating a leisure environment for patients.
