Lianfa Group&ITG Yue Shang Lu Ming Podium

Located at the core of Nanchang’s ancient city beside the Tengwang Pavilion and the Ganjiang River, Urban Life Theater is a community club that fuses oriental aesthetics with modern functions, presenting a poetic model of urban living. Rooted in the historical and cultural essence of Yuzhang, the project translates the traditional neighborhood spirit into a contemporary “Urban Living Room,” where daily experiences and social interactions unfold in harmony.

The design theme “Neighborhood Life Theater” transforms the stilt floor into a dynamic experiential journey. The artistic lobby welcomes visitors with elegance, leading into a shared living room, a modern tea space, and a children’s wonderland—each area shaped to encourage communication, relaxation, and community bonding. Neutral tones and refined materials form a calm spatial atmosphere: metal frames meet warm stones, soft fabrics, and linear lighting, creating a sense of quiet luxury and human warmth.

In the tea-tasting area, a long Jazz White marble table anchors the space like an ink painting, balancing cool textures with warm orange leather chairs. Adjacent to it, a chess room continues the refined aesthetic—its hand-carved chessboard and metal-detailed woodwork embody the joy of intellect and craftsmanship.

The children’s area centers on “exploration and growth,” featuring bright colors, rounded furniture, and creative installations that stimulate imagination and safety in equal measure. Meanwhile, a reading zone designed under the theme “Reading and Reflection” offers residents a serene spiritual retreat where warm wood tones, metal lines, and natural light create an open and inclusive reading atmosphere.

Through meticulous craftsmanship and emotional warmth, the project transcends functional boundaries to offer a poetic, interactive, and human-centered community experience—an urban stage where everyday life and cultural sensibility intertwine gracefully.
