Tomato 5.0: Pop-up Tomato Market has transformed Tiexi District's annual signature block festival in Shenyang into a dynamic cultural phenomenon, attracting over 2.8 million visits. Now in its fifth year, this creative urban intervention has evolved from a local gathering into a nationally celebrated cultural IP, acclaimed for its continuous innovation and masterful creative curation.

Building upon the success of Versions 1.0-4.0, Tomato 5.0 seamlessly fuses Tiexi's profound industrial heritage with contemporary Pop Art aesthetics. Bold color palettes and playful geometries redefine the urban landscape. Through a unique co-creation model, we collaborated with 40+ diverse brands to craft immersive spatial experiences, achieving unprecedented participation scale.

The design ingeniously converts industrial elements into captivating architectural and artistic installations. Iconic structures inspired by cannery machinery and bakery equipment create whimsical urban landmarks, while a repurposed industrial crane serves as a dramatic symbolic gateway. This approach successfully reinterprets industrial heritage – shedding its traditionally heavy and rigid image to reveal a vibrant, accessible, and profoundly human-centered new identity.

Tomato 5.0: Pop-up Tomato Market transcends being merely a marketplace. It stands as a powerful testament to urban regeneration, with over 2.8 million visits bearing witness to how innovative design and collaborative spirit can: Unleash a place's unique charm; Ignite community pride; Masterfully weave together industrial history, contemporary art, and vibrant urban life
