Unlike traditional formal library, this project proposes an informal library that provides community residents with dynamic spaces not only for reading, but also for work, creation, communication

and leisure purposes. To maintain the height of the library in harmony with the surrounding buildings and ensure the FAR, rather than piling upwards, this project added a basement level. A

north-south "Valley" runs through the volume and divides it into two, and connects the ground and underground floors as well. The zigzag shape of the library comes from the connections between

surrounding elements. And corridors are added to connect the two zigzag volumes and create an annular circulation. Reading and Communication Spaces are inserted on B1 and 1F.
