Yunlin Creative Design Center ( YCDC )

Yunlin Creative Design Center (YCDC) is a dedicated design service platform and was established by the Yunlin County Government. Positioning design as the key strategy for industrial upgrading and youth innovation, YCDC operates dual hubs in Douliu (est. 2020) and Huwei (est. 2024). The YCDC integrates design consultancy, product matching, brand development, and marketing to bridge academia, industry, and local communities, thereby fostering a sustainable creative ecosystem.

Key Milestones (2020–2025):

• Brand Matching and Retail: Guiding over 3,000 local brands in design optimization and market positioning, we have assisted more than 15,000 products in entering physical and online retail channels and facilitated over 1,800 cross-industry collaborations.

• Industry Exposure: YCDC hosts three major themed exhibitions and markets annually. Each event features an average of 200 brands, resulting in over 600 brand exposures per year while attracting more than 20,000 visitors.

• Industrial Transformation: By implementing design-driven strategies, we help brands reshape packaging, storytelling, and distribution, significantly enhancing their market competitiveness.

• Youth Empowerment: Through over 30 lectures and workshops, YCDC has reached a cumulative attendance of 112,000, strengthening the practical design and business capabilities of local youth and entrepreneurs.

• Defining Local Identity: By integrating design awards, boutique certifications, and specialty shop initiatives, we translate Yunlin’s cultural and industrial heritage into a cohesive brand system while broadening regional revitalization.
