After integrating the spatial flow vertically, the five-story house can fulfill the needs of each resident. Different floors serve different functions. The first floor is the public area. It's where you go to relax and bond with family in a casual, welcoming setting. The second floor is a multi-functional room for entertaining and working. The rest of the floors can provide quiet, private spaces to relax and relieve stress or anxiety. Dark colors set the mood in the public area, giving a sense of stability. On the other hand, lighter shades in the multi-functional room give a more toned-down look. Also, gray paint exudes a casual atmosphere. In the private spaces, different color palettes add a unique touch of charm and character.

Gradient gray hexagonal tiles give people a warm welcome at the entryway. The wood herringbone flooring leads the way to the public area, where a wall is built in the center of the square layout. With entrances on the left and right, it forms a smooth circular traffic flow, which also separates the living room and dining room.

In the living room, gray paint has finishes that will give a stucco-like look and connect the vertical and horizontal axes. The irregular textures along with neat grooves create an appealing visual contrast. In this tranquil environment, the tangerine sofa stands out in a consistent color palette and instantly brightens up the room. It also adds a pop of color, offering a fascinating contrast to the subdued color palette.

The dining room continues the calm tone of the living room. Smoked wood grains create a rustic atmosphere, which naturally cultivates a subdued environment. At the window, an L-shaped couch provides comfort and lots of seating for guests. It also serves as a relaxing corner for the homeowner to unwind and enjoy the view.
